Taysha, at twenty-five, is the CEO of H.Couture Beauty LLC and the nonprofit organization, H.Couture Beauty Water Inc. (Beauty Water ORG) Taysha became a millionairess at the age of 21 through clever investments in both real estate and diamond reselling, as well as several ghostwriting projects while still in college. As Taysha herself, recalls her extraordinary success, "I did it all through the Internet. The Internet leveled the playing field. I was so sharp and polished that people just believed in me and doors started to open. I’ve never looked back since!" Before deciding to become a fashion and beauty mogul, Taysha was on the path of a career in medicine. She spent a brief stint as an ABA Junior therapist before “officially” starting her company in the spring of 2004.

Taysha is also a young executive member of the prestigious CEW organization in New York, for executives in the cosmetics industry. Taysha’s philosophy in life is "Love what you do, share what you know, and always dream your dream." Taysha is a young mogul; persistent and focused. Her expertise in the beauty and business worlds are precise, and she is armed and ready to take over the beauty and fashion world one body part at a time.

Although labeled “The Princess of Eyebrows” in her teens, she does not want to be boxed in to a title. She wants to carve a spot in Haute history for herself by being a teacher, author, artist, philanthropist, and entrepreneur… a full mogul in the true sense of the word and an inspiration to young women. Taysha has a passion for beauty, fashion, business and people, and because of her diverse cultural background, she is definitely not one-dimensional. She is currently in discussion with investors, the best chemists, manufacturers, and major distributors in the beauty business.

Taysha has this to say: "Look out for H.Couture Beauty. We plan to be here for a long time and on the lips, literally, of the people. We plan to revolutionize the business model for fashion, beauty, and professional workings as we know it."

As the creator of the "haute beauty" category she is infamous and famous for her uber exclusive and over the top beauty offerings. Taysha is loved by the business world and said by some to be "a breath of fresh air". "Innovative and fearless"

The current success of her visionary company has placed her in a coveted category of being sought after aggressively for acquisition. “I am not really interested in selling this early in the game , I created this category in beauty and Honestly I am not sure a “buyer” of current really understands that HAUTENESS that is H.Couture and its many many brands…LOL”

Taysha was a regular at the Learning Annex in NYC and she is invited on a regular basis by Investments Banks and Trend report Panels.

IMPERIOUS INTERVIEW PART II

IMPERIOUS: Can you give our readers an overview about your company H. Couture, and the 21 brands that are under the H. Couture umbrella?

TAYSHA SMITH VALEZ: H couture is a lifestyle company with the core being in beauty but we took beauty one step further. We own the image, we own the distribution. We have a manufacturing plant in Canada , tons of contracts and alliances in the USA etc. H couture is really high end; every part of it is just a spin-off of my life. It’s a pretty detailed company, we have 21 brands and because of technology we are instantly international . Even though we are an American Group ,we started selling overseas before we came to the United States. The CEO is…me (laughs) but I have creative directors for each brand. I don’t micromanage every brand; I just oversee, push the vision and hire the proper people. There are about 400 people who work for/with me but each person owns their own business, so I only have about 3 actual employees and about 400 people who work for me and with me.

IMPERIOUS: What about your brands is different from any other cosmetic line that you could find at Sephora or a Department store?

TAYSHA SMITH VALEZ: The number one thing that people ask me is what makes your brands better? You can’t really call yourself better or anything better unless you’ve lived what somebody else lived or lives . I can’t speak on MAC or Crème de la Mer , because I (& my clients) don’t live MAC & Crème de la Mer (we did that already!) . I can’t say I’m better, I’m definitely “Hauter” because I’ve created what “Haute” is, meaning the haute service, the methods of distribution. The haute packaging, we don’t use cardboard with our secondary packaging , we only use exotic leathers and things with our secondary. Everything is hand pieced and poured , nothing is sitting on a shelf in warehouses, our concierge is on call 24.7 for our clients, so that makes me “Hauter” but not necessarily better. And it’s just different; it’s a different style of selling. It’s tons of customer service. Basically what I did was, because I’ve been a Centurion (American Express Black Card) holder since 1999 & I’ve lived in a doorman concierge building for a large portion of my life , there’s a level of client service with all that. So I just mimicked the customer service and I applied it to beauty to really take beauty to the next level. So the level of customer service and how we do things is different. I wouldn’t consider myself better, I haven’t tried every product at Sephora & Bergdorf’s etc , I just know I’m different and I know I could never have "Haute" brands in Sephora or Bergdorf’s (for our fashion & beauty brands ) because the model caters to Prestige brands. We aren’t Prestige we are Haute , Prestige sells “Products & Promises” “Haute sells “Services & Experiences” .

IMPERIOUS:  If you could pick 5 people to have dinner with dead or alive who would they be?

TAYSHA SMITH VALEZ:  Damon Dash, Steve Jobs, Farah Pahlavi, the Empress of Iran, Stephanie McClelland (producer of The Color Purple, and many other broadway productions ), and Madam C.J. Walker. All of those people are underestimated, mis understood, and GANGSTA ( in a good way ) . Every last one of them ,  SuperSTARs of  American Business . Honestly I don’t feel any of the living on that list have reached their full potential yet! And that’s the crazy part. Its like they are all quietly regrouping.  Some have been humbled , some  have been knocked down , slandared,  all that. But not one person on  that list is done.  As chessy as it sounds , they’ve only just begun. One word , “WOW !”

IMPERIOUS:  How do you feel about rappers calling women bitches and hoes?

TAYSHA SMITH VALEZ:  I don’t hear anything if it doesn’t apply to me. You only turn your head when somebody calls your name. That has nothing to do with me; I cant really March on Washington for every single time somebody says something that is offensive because I’d be marching all day everyday. I think its just a sign of what people know, what they understand and honestly if you go into certain cultures and hear how people talk, this is how people talk to each other. This is not new, but I think because its worldwide now and its hitting ears that it never hit before…I’m not saying that it’s right but I’m not saying that its new and they’re not talking to me so I’ll deal with it when it comes to me. But if you are, then you definitely cant get mad because those things do exist. Whores exist and so do bitches….but I don’t think it’s the bitches or the whores who are upset about it.  So people need to censor themselves a little more, kind of treat it like its their church, you know come on your grandmother’s here… You can’t get mad, nobody’s talking to you.

IMPERIOUS:  What’s next for Taysha Smith Valez?

TAYSHA SMITH VALEZ:  Vacation… ( laughs) , learning to speak Farsi ; my goal is to speak 8 languages fluently when it’s all said and done . As far as business, we have a permit for our first department store, the world’s first “Haute” department store. Everything is made to measure; you don’t walk out with a bag. The concept is very Global . We’re producing shows, keeping everything Haute, pushing the Socialite mascara. I have to sell Two million mascaras. Two million is very small because 100 million mascaras are sold every year. I have a magazine launching. I’m not the CEO of all these things; I’m just the CEO of the main umbrella. Most Importantly ! !!! We are in the middle of  forming the TSV-H.B.G. group.  It’s an Haute Consumer goods Conglomerate that has plans of trading on the NASDAQ Portal in 2008. In a nut shell its A USA Haute Goods Conglomerate …  Est. 2007; it is the parent of 31 sub-companies that each manages a small number of haute brands. These daughter companies are, to a large extent, run autonomously. and are all instantly international. www.youngaffluents.com

Wow! I met her at the learning Annex Last year around August. She was speaking to a sold out crowd. The woman is on fire! . I love that whole "quiet money" mental she has. This (meaning all this that Taysha is involved with ) might be too much to swallow for the haters but its goes down smooth for the people on they grind. She's my living idol.

I went to one of the same colleges as her . Rider University. She transfered because of schedule conflicts. This chick was an animal in business since the start. She was making dough and moves in college. One of those fearless types, she don't care what nobody who is not making money has to say , I mean NOBODY LMAO . From one entrepernuer to another All I can do is respect that.

This is prob alot of people's first time hearing of her, its because she is so guarded and private . She was taught early how to build wealth this I know from friends of friends who vacation near her home in Diamond Head Hawaii. Taysha is the truth ! she is indeed a boss. The chick is creating her own little United nations/ Disney world of Hauteness, she supports indi artist as well, from ballet to , indie films and all that. I love it ! Everybody in her camp is getting money. It's refreshing . I don't know her beyond a hello (I am working on that) but she is very pretty in person. She's actually a tiny little thing, her picture makes her look a lot bigger . LMAO. Good things all Good things with this misses.

Taysha Smith Valez is a woman with a voice, a vision, and a message. She is extremely strong and secure, as well as, motivated and driven. In fact, I think she just may be more driven than NASCAR and it truly shows in her successes. She is an inspiration to everyone who not only chooses the beauty route and path, but to people who are ambitious and extremely intuned with their goals and accomplishments.
