          New media company, The Russ Group of Companies which specializes in  diverse business interest such as music, video / film and Internet is looking for artists. The outreach for artists has now begun for one of  the company's initial projects , Terrance Russ Presents Uptown and Music Vision series.

          The Terrance Russ Presents Uptown Music and Vision project is a joint marketing venture with the popular national uber chic lifestyle publication Uptown Magazine .  The arrangement is designed to elevate the Uptown Magazine brand as well as build the profile of the new label ( unnamed at press time) , a unit of  The Russ Group of Companies. The parent company of the media concern is the powerful New Origin Communications company.  New Origin Communications is a eighteen  year old consulting and management firm which represents  music artist ,  record producers, NFL and NBA athletes as well as motion picture producers , book authors, entrepreneurs and business people.

           Terrance Russ Presents Uptown Music and Vision series overview: The project is a platform for emerging artist and creative individuals .  The releases will be multi release compilations with music genres ranging from rhythm and blues, rap / hip hop, gospel , jazz including poetry and spoken word. The series will also forge aggressively to market progressive musical and creative expression. Traditional media and new media will be utilized to present the artist, the music and the company itself by advertising , video/ film and regional and national tours.

            The ambitious project, being executive produced by Terrance Russ, CEO of New Origin Communications , and co - executive  produced by Jocelyn Taylor , Publisher and Brett Wright, President of Uptown Magazine respectively, will break new business ground by trail blazing and setting new business standards and practices. This includes marketing, publicity , public relations areas, not limited to identifying and acquiring artists. The old rules will not apply.

             All interested artist and creative individuals should be prepared to discuss their interest, willingness to work with conviction and passion. All artists and creative individuals  will sing , M.C / rap , recite at the arranged Information Session . The importance is on the raw ability and talent of the artist and creative individual. Talent will not be judged on demo's, whether audio or visual.
