Ms. New Beauty has been working since she was 14.  And in that time, she's had a wide variety of jobs.  She was a nursery school camp instructor with a class of twenty toddlers under two and a supervising teacher who barely knew how to feed herself let alone a baby.  She was a cashier at the now defunct and very disfunctional Service Merchandise.  There all of the department and store managers were sleeping together in a very dramatic and semi-incestuous fashion.  MNB even had the professional responsibility of putting tags on underwear at Value City, although that job only lasted for two and a half hours.  But since she got paid for that time, and picker up her check (for $15 no less), Ms. New Beauty still counts that as a job.

Her first real job though was an internship at a financial services firm in Philadelphia.  This was MNB's first exposure to the realities of the professional, corporate workplace.  One of the first realities she had to deal with was the fact that neither her managers nor the sales staff she supported really had any need for an intern.  Thus, Ms. New Beauty learned the fine art of looking busy for 8 hours a day.  One the best techniques she mastered to deal with the incessant boredom was the Sneak & Shop.  MNB left her cardigan on the back of her chair, tucked a credit card in her pocket, and left the office with a pencil and pad in hand looking like she was off to a meeting with someone on a different floor when in fact she was headed out to the wonderful boutiques on Walnut Street.  Her favorite worktime boutique was the Douglas Cosmetics in Liberty Place.  There she fell in love with Lancome Juicy Tubes for the first time so it will always hold a special place in Ms. New Beauty's heart.  MNB took a trip back down memory lane a few weeks ago and came upon such a cute little product.

Sweet Spot On-The-Go Wipettes

It's not often that you come upon true beauty products for your most "precious" parts.  Most of the time, you have to venture down that aisle in the drugstore that's loaded with creams and potions to cure everything from itching to odor.  It's embarassing to say the least, unless you like strangers wondering what you've got going on in your pants.  Most women I know, simply buy baby wipes for extra cleanliness.  Well here's a product that's specifically designed for us grown ups who like to keep everything extra fresh and anyone interested in dating Terrence Howard

These wipes come individually wrapped like wet naps so they're easy to drop right into your purse.  They unfold to be about as big as a washcloth.  They're perfect for on-the-go cleansing, especially during these hot, sticky summer days.  Unlike their counterparts for the Crib & Bottle set, the scent on these is perfectly grown woman (or man!) appropriate.  Choose from Geranium Lavender, Citrus Galbanum, or Basil Grapefruit.  There's also an unscented option if perfumes are too strong for your skin.

$2.50 for a pack of three, available at SweetSpotLabs.com

Sweet Spot Refreshing Mist

Now, I'll be completely honest here, I really don't know what this product does.  But, I was so caught up in the cuteness of the line (who doesn't love a product for your sweet spot called Sweet Spot???) that I knew I had to buy more than just the wipes.  This is designed to refresh you and be part of your most personal care routine.  This spray can be used after bathing or anytime you need a lift.  It's not scented heavily enough to be a deodorant but it's not a wash either.  I guess the point is just to give you that extra boost when you need it .  All I know is, I like it so I keep using it.  This comes in the same four scents as the wipes so it's easy to make sure you don't have conflicting scents going on.

$12, also available at SweetSpotLabs.com

Pamper your Sweet Spot and keep it fresh for the rest of this hot summer but just don't forget that Ms. New Beauty told you!
