Am I the only human being that believes slavery still exist in the country? When are we going to come together first as a black community, then as a color community?

you're right it does exist
however, the question is whether this idea of community is integral to solving it.
i think that once we (and everyone else) stops labeling us a Black community, those who share the characteristic of Black race would be able to parse themselves along other lines. after all, 'we' certainly undermine our status as a community and 'we' don't all have the same socio-political agenda don't get me wrong, im not suggesting that people stop identifying issues pertinent to all of us, i just think that we need to figure out who 'us' is. (and no, i don't think that 'us' is constituted by one's heritage as a family of former slaves)
in addition, some of slavery i immediately thought of upon seeing your question was slavery that's self inflicted: ben vereen's blackface performance at reagan's inauguration, individualism as the mode d'emploi, et cetera.

Ok you lost me with the last info you were talking about. I do believe that I once read that the problem and that always has been the problem is with the colored line. It started there and will end there. Forgive me for saying the Black Community, or I could have said the colored people or the people of Kemet. It doesn't even matter we all have some color in us and that is the bottom line. Slavery is mental, physcial, and emotionally degrading. I do know that not just the colored were in slavery, and there were other races as well. I just wanted to state that it started with us. It is time for all people from all races to acknowledge that something is really wrong and we need to come together as a whole for all of us as well as the animals, the earth to really heal. The truth must be told in order for us to understand who we were as a people before our ancestors were brought over here as well as with the Natives of this land, because our people mixed with them too. The powers of this country know, but aren't telling the whole honest to the most high truth. I will never believe what this country tells me about any people unless I research or speak with someone myself the bottom line.

It seems like we're saying the same thing. As for the self-inflicted slavery I mentioned, I refer to the things that we currently do to ourselves that keep us enslaved.
With respect to the idea of community, i just think that our vision is quite myopic usually. we often think of ourselves as simply communities based on appearance rather than communities based on experience. I think the latter is much more appropriate for social and political purposes.
