Main Entry: im•pe•ri•ous Hip-Hop has been under scrutiny for its controversial sectors and alleged negative influences for years; but more recently, this scrutiny has emerged nationally outside of hip-hop realms. This new platform surfaced, partly, in response to hip-hop criticism that emerged nationally after the incident involving the Rutgers Women’s Basketball team but primarily to offer a refreshing, intellectual dialogue concerning everything related to hip-hop culture: the good, the bad, and the ugly. We, at ImperiousEnt.com, acknowledge that some rap music is part of the problem and artists should be more responsible, but we wish to further address society’s ills dating back to “the days when the chains black men wore weren’t bling”. We also aim to entertain and educate. Our goal is to provide a coherent voice to the hip-hop community at large. The use of the phrase hip-hop community is an attempt to bring critical focus to the issues that define our time and go beyond simply rap music. We hope you enjoy your visit, tell friends about us and return again. The Website The Company Best Regards, Almuhtada Smith

Hey Almuhtada - thanks for the 50 cents outside of the music hall at UCLA last week :-) I thought I at least owed it to you to check out your website. It's very impressive! Good luck with all your endeavors and it looks like you are on the right track.
